PI Solutions acted as the 3rd party commissioning agent, performing a detailed review of system design and sequence of operations, for this facility consisting of 126,000 sf of raised floor white space, electrical/mechanical space, and support/public areas. As a result of the successful completion of the project, PI has been selected to perform commissioning services for Phase II of this expansion that will be of similar scope and magnitude.
Dulles Discovery (Peterson Companies), Virginia
PI Solutions provided commissioning services for the first three buildings of the Dulles Discovery campus, totaling 450,000 sf. Total building space is forecasted to be 1,500,000 sf with 200,000 sf of raised floor server and communications space distributed across the three buildings.

Commissioning was broken down into six levels, including design review, factory witness testing, component verification and testing, individual system testing, and integrated systems operational testing, and the project was delivered on time, meeting the client’s expectations.
