George “Buster” Barksdale is the Senior Vice President of PI’s Energy Division and runs both the energy and power business units, which includes HVAC systems integration design and installation and full EPC for power plant construction. He is a certified Energy Manager bringing over 25 years of experience in all organizational levels including engineering, energy and knowledge management, logistics, construction, contracting, facility operations, and government procurement procedures.
Buster worked extensively with both U.S. and international governments, including all branches of the Department of Defense, the State Department, and work with the governments of Japan and Turkey. In addition, he provided support to the U.S. Army through policy revision, and managed an energy support team for the Department of Homeland Security. Buster is a fellow for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and serves as Regional Vice President for the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He holds an MPA from the University of Oklahoma and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Auburn University.
